After market close (4:00–5:40 PM EST) the system captures 24 data points for all 8,300+ US stocks — price, volume, momentum, P/E, Beta, 52-week range, and more. Nothing is missed. Sentiment analysis runs the next morning at 6:00 AM so it reflects overnight news, analyst upgrades, and earnings reactions — not stale afternoon data.
Starting at 6:00 AM EST, every stock gets scored across price momentum, value, relative strength, volatility, and market cap using our scoring formula. The highest-scoring candidates are enriched with 30 days of price and volume history. The top candidates — with fresh overnight news — advance to the AI for final selection.
The AI reviews the shortlisted candidates and selects 25 final picks. It enforces sector diversity (max 3 per sector), skips stocks that have already surged, and aligns picks with the active strategy. Each pick comes with a confidence level (HIGH / MEDIUM / LOW), a category (MOMENTUM / VALUE / GROWTH / DEFENSIVE / RECOVERY), and a plain-English thesis. Done by 6:40 AM.
Add any stock to your personal watchlist and the system will analyze it alongside your dashboard picks. Stocks the system already tracks get live tracker data and the AI badge. Stocks outside the system's picks get Sonnet AI analysis — buy, hold, sell, or watch — updated every morning at 6:50 AM and on demand via the ↻ Update Now button. Your watchlist is yours — it never affects the system's picks.
